Celebrity Weight Loss by Dr Jasmine #day12

Hi everyone! Today is day 12 of my Celebrity Weight Loss program. I'm so excited to share with all of you my weight loss graph so far. My starting weight was 68.5kg and on my last weigh in which is today is 64.8kg. That is a total of 3.7kg in less than 2 weeks.

If you notice, on day 9 the graph peaks a bit. This is when I cheated on Day 8 and ended up gaining 100g. I'm feeling motivated now more than ever as I see the total weight loss is quite good. However, not all patients will have this same type of progress. Some people lose more and some lose less weight. The usual expected weight loss is from 4kg to 7kg.

Please feel free to ask me about my weight loss so far. I will be glad to answer it.

Celebrity Weight Loss by Dr Jasmine #day8


Parties are nice, parties a fun. The worse thing about being at parties is being surrounded by sinful food. The funny thing is, the sinful food is what I used to look forward to in a party.

See the illustration on top? I wish that was me. I wish I said no to the tempting food but no... I am sorry to say that I caved in..I gave in to temptation. So here I am today writing a confession about how I cheated on my 8th day. How do I feel? Not proud of myself. It's really not worth it to cave in after all the effort.

I guess Dr. Jasmine is only human too right?

Celebrity Weight Loss by Dr Jasmine #day4

After the heavy loading on Day 1, Day 2 and the testing Day 3, I was very worried about my weigh in today. From the time I woke up till I was driving that was all I could think of.

Once I reached the office, I took my time to settle in before getting on to the scale. Yes. I was trying to put off disappointment. But when I got on to the scale...to my surprise I had lost 1.2kg already!

I am happy to know that I am on the right track. If I keep this up I can see that I will be on my way to reaching fast results.

Celebrity Weight Loss by Dr Jasmine #day3


Day 3 is the actual day I started my diet. This diet is a very structured diet where it specifies what you can and can't eat. After my body went in to shock yesterday with the amount of calories I consumed I am now ready to say no to my favourite foods.

The first part of the day was okay. I had a light breakfast and consumed a lot of green tea in between. I like the mint infused tea. It kind of reminds me of mint chocolate =)

Dinner was no problem as well. Amma (mom) had taken in to careful consideration of what I can and cannot eat. I am so thankful that she, a long with the rest of my family is so supportive.

The only testing part throughout the day was in the evening at work. Today we had our monthly meeting and the staff decided to have their 'makan-makan' session like they always do. Can you imagine having to sit through and listen to the 'chomp-chomp' of their mouths and smell the aroma or fresh pizza in the air?

Well the surprising thing was that I wasn't really tempted to cheat! The Celebrity Weight Loss program actually cuts your craving and appetite making it easy to avoid excessive or impulsive eating especially in social functions.

So I basically survived the 1st actual day of the diet! Hurrah for me! Let's see what tomorrow has in store.

Celebrity Weight Loss by Dr Jasmine #day2


Hi friends! If you were paying attention to my previous post, you would have noticed that I mentioned during the first two days of the Celebrity Weight Loss Program I get to rid myself of all my cravings. It felt like the best 2 days of my life literally. Yes, it is no secret that I, Dr. Jasmine loves food! Not just like but love. So you can say that the first to days is an emotional journey of saying goodbye to all my favourite foods.

I have decided to share with you my unhealthy menu for day 2 here.I advise you to not try it if you are on any other kind of diet. In fact if someone were to eat like this everyday I can assure you they are putting their life at risk.

Day 2 Menu

Breakfast - Maggi Goreng with Telur Mata @ NZ

Mid Morning Snack - Roti Bom @ Mamak shop in office food court

Lunch - Spare ribs drenched in BBQ sauce served with jacket potato and sauteed veg

Afternoon Snack - Oreo Milk Shake @ McDonalds

Tea - Scones and Teh Tarik @ Harrods KLCC

Dinner - Nasi Kandar @ NZ

Dessert - Home made Sago Gula Melaka


Wow.. That is a very long list huh? Can anyone estimate how many calories I would have consumed in that 1 day?

Breakfast - Maggi Goreng with Telur Mata @ NZ (762 calories)

Mid Morning Snack - Roti Canai  @ Mamak shop in office food court (400 calories)

Lunch - Spare ribs drenched in BBQ sauce served with jacket potato and sauteed veg (1,100 calories)

Afternoon Snack - Oreo Milk Shake @ McDonalds (570 calories)

Tea - Scones and Teh Tarik @ Harrods KLCC (900 calories)

Dinner - Nasi Kandar Ayam @ NZ (900 calories)

Dessert - Home made Sago Gula Melaka (200 calories)

Which makes the grand total of calorie consumption for the day a whooping 4,832 calories! To put it into perspective, the average woman with a sedentary lifestyle (example: office going, not lying down 24/7, not laborer) only needs a maximum of 1,800 calories.

I will post more about calories some other time as it is quite an extensive topic. For now I have had enough calories for the day (or month =p) and am mentally prepared to start my Celebrity Weight Loss Program Diet.

Celebrity Weight Loss by Dr Jasmine #day1


Hi everyone! I am very excited to be starting my blog. I have been practicing aesthetic medicine for over 8 years now and think this will be a great way for me to connect with my patients.

The first series of posts is going to be about weight loss. Simply because weight loss seems to be the most sought after treatments especially for Malaysians. You may I have heard before, among Southeast Asian countries we come up tops in the fatness and diabetic index.

I am such a sport that I myself am going to take on the weight loss challenge and show you how you too could lose weight fast, safely and healthily.
